Terms of Service

Last updated October 29, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and LLMeet LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company doing business as Ruvalu ("we", "us"). Ruvalu is a product of LLMeet LLC. They're written to be read. By creating an account or using Ruvalu, you agree to them. How we handle your information is in the Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use Ruvalu

You must be 18 or older to use Ruvalu, and you'll be asked to confirm it before you start. Please use your own email address, keep your password to yourself, and have one account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

2. What Ruvalu does

You talk with Ruvalu, an AI. As you chat, Ruvalu builds a short picture of what you're working on, what you're looking for and what you can offer. You can see and fix that picture any time in What Ruvalu knows.

If you turn matching on, Ruvalu looks for people who could genuinely help each other and suggests them to you. An introduction happens when both of you say yes, and then you get a shared conversation together.

Ruvalu is in early access. Features will change, and we can't promise any particular number of suggestions or that someone suitable will be found.

3. Ruvalu is an AI

Ruvalu is an AI, not a person. The chat says so at the top at all times, and if a conversation goes on for a few hours, Ruvalu reminds you again (at least every three hours) and suggests a break. Ruvalu won't claim to be human.

Ruvalu can be wrong, misunderstand you, or miss context. Treat what it says as a thoughtful starting point, not professional advice: it isn't a doctor, lawyer, financial adviser or therapist. AI companions like Ruvalu may not be suitable for some minors, which is one reason it's only for adults.

Our safety protocol for suicide and self-harm. Ruvalu is not a crisis service. If you're in danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number). In the US you can call or text 988, or chat at 988lifeline.org, to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, any time.

  • Detecting. Every message you send Ruvalu, and your own messages in shared conversations, is checked against a list of phrases people use about suicide or hurting themselves. Ruvalu's AI is also instructed to notice these topics itself.
  • Referring. When a message may mention suicide or self-harm, the app shows you a card with ways to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call, text or chat), 911 for immediate danger, and findahelpline.com outside the US. Only you see it.
  • Responding. Ruvalu is instructed to put everything else aside and respond with care: to acknowledge what you said without judgement, ask if you're safe, point you to 988, and never give information that could be used for self-harm. The conversation is never blocked, so you can keep talking.
  • Counting. We count how often this is triggered in chats with Ruvalu, as a number with no names or message text, for the yearly report some states require.

No automatic check is perfect: it can miss things or show the card when it isn't needed. People don't review your chats because of it.

4. Your content

What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it, including with the service providers named in the Privacy Policy, only as needed to run Ruvalu for you and the people you connect with. You can edit or delete what Ruvalu has learned, and you can delete your account.

Please only share other people's personal details when you have the right to.

5. Being a good member

When you use Ruvalu, don't:

  • harass, threaten, deceive or exploit anyone;
  • send spam, scams, or sales pitches nobody asked for;
  • share illegal, sexual or hateful content;
  • pretend to be someone you're not;
  • try to get around usage limits or security, scrape the service, or interfere with how it runs.

You can report or block anyone you've been suggested or connected with. Reports come to us for review, and we may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

6. Meeting people

You decide who to talk to and what to share. We don't run background checks or verify who people are, so use your judgement, especially before meeting in person. You're responsible for your own interactions with other members.

7. Fair use and limits

To keep Ruvalu running well for everyone, Ruvalu replies up to 50 times a day on the free plan and up to 300 times a day on Pro, and asks you to slow down if you send more than 8 messages in a minute. There's also a shared daily capacity across everyone; on a very busy day Ruvalu may pause until the next day. Limits reset at midnight UTC.

Every plan, including Pro and any free or promotional plan such as a founding-member or lifetime offer, is for normal personal and business use by you. Automated or scripted use, reselling or sharing your access, and deliberately excessive use aren't allowed.

If a plan is misused, we may limit, suspend or end it. For a paid plan, we'll refund the unused part of your current billing period. Daily limits may change over time; we'll give notice before a change takes effect.

8. The Pro plan

Pro is a monthly subscription that gives you a higher daily reply limit. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. The price is shown before you pay.

Pro renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Manage billing in About you › Plan & account; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting your account cancels your subscription straight away. For billing questions, write to help@ruvalu.com.

9. Leaving

You can delete your account at any time from About you › Plan & account.We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk, and we may change or stop Ruvalu.

10. The legal part

Ruvalu is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what other members say or do. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, and disputes will be handled by the state and federal courts located in Connecticut.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Ruvalu after that, the new terms apply.
